The following lists of species found in the Osa Peninsula are a compilation of years of work by many researchers of many organizations, and the work is not finished. Some species are identified by both their common name and scientific name, some only by one or the other. As work continues over the years, these lists will be updated and locations of specific sitings within Campanario will be recorded. Proyecto Campanario thanks all those researchers who have already contributed and who, in the future, will contribute to the ever growing knowledge base of the Osa Peninsula.
Please let us know if you have any information to add or corrections to make to the lists. We ask that photographers who have been to Campanario help us complete our collections of photos. Please send us each photo with common and scientific name, if possible. Thanks.
